Flock’s devs are proud to announce that Catalan is now available for download at Flock Versions. They are now burning the midnight oil to have German and Brazilian Portuguese as soon as possible!

If you are language savvy, please contact Mike at flock dot com, or gandalf, gandalf at flock dot com.

If you haven’t used Flock, I encourage you to give it a try. It’s the only real social browser around.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is now history and the spotlight switches to MacWorld San Francisco 2008 (MWSF). Attention now turns to next week’s MacWorld, where Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs may supply the magic missing from CES.In all Apple’s fans agenda, MacWorld San Francisco kicks off with Steve Jobs’ keynote on Tuesday, January 15th 9 a.m. (PST). It will be MWSF’s 23rd event and more than 40,000 visitors are expected at the Moscone Center.

Keynote access is restricted to paying attendees and media: it will cost at least $200 to get in, and you aren’t guaranteed a seat unless you step up and grab a $1,695 Super Pass or a $1,495 Platinum Pass. Both of those get you into most of the conference sessions, however.

Banners displayed at the venue read, “2008. There’s something in the air”. What can that be?It’s widely rumored that under Steve Jobs’ sleeve is:

  1. An ultraportable notebook weighing between 2 and 4 pounds dubbed the “Slim MacBook Mini” with a price tag of approximately $1,500 – $2,000.
  2. A movie rental service which can be triggered through Apple iTunes Stores. The rumor is that a movie can be rented for $3.99 apiece and will remain on your iPhone for 24 hours. After that, the file will be automatically erased. It seems that Apple has already iron out an agreement with 20th Century Fox, Disney (of course), Warner Brothers, Paramount and Lions Gate.
  3. Upgrading of the iPhone to include 3G which is a faster communication connection found in most smart cell phones today. This upgrade was long overdue.

That’s just about what I was able to get out of an early bird. As you know, Apply guys are paranoid when it comes to giving information away.
